As a Safety and Quality Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of high-end projects in Retail, Leisure, and Hospitality, with values reaching up to £10m. If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for safety and quality, this role is tailor-made for you.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on safe working practices to minimize the risk of injury and ill health.
- Manage and maintain the company's ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Produce regular reports detailing current performance, areas for improvement, and areas of success.
- Liaise with external agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage CoSHH control measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support project teams in implementing safe working practices and ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification).
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations.
- Passionate about Health & Safety.
- SMSTS desirable.
- Relevant driving licence.
