Early Years Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a casual basis to provide cover across our nurseries. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will have the flexibility to choose from available shifts, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for promoting a nurturing environment, engaging with children of all ages and developmental skills, and supporting their learning and development through play. You will also be required to complete and record daily observations, plan developmental steps, and comply with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a nurturing environment and engage with children of all ages and developmental skills.
- Support children, co-workers, and parents; deliver stimulating indoor and outdoor activities; and complete and record daily observations.
- Plan developmental steps in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage and comply with policies and procedures.
- Attend training opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Assist in ensuring the nursery is a safe environment for children.
We are looking for an individual with a Level 2/3 childcare qualification or relevant experience. You should have a commitment to providing high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygienic practice for children aged 4 months – 5 years. You should also have an understanding of the developmental needs of children, Statutory Framework, and relevant legislation.
