This is a senior global leadership position that requires a deep understanding of the Consumer Retail sector and the ability to provide strategic advice and thought leadership to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a global industry advisory strategy for the Consumer Retail sector, working closely with the global sales head to achieve shared goals and priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Organize and lead the Industry Global Advisory team to deliver value at a client, industry, and treasury best-practice level.
  • Develop and execute a set of global integrated solutions relevant to the key sector themes, leveraging the power of J.P. Morgan's franchise.
  • Drive content strategy, champion success cases, and promote replication and sharing to make sales opportunities easier to address.
  • Be visible externally, actively seeking key industry events, and be a speaker and visible external industry advocate alongside the global sales lead.
Requirements
  • Extensive product, strategy, or sales management experience with extensive knowledge of the Consumer Retail sector.
  • Experience in managing strategy initiatives and projects, with client management experience being essential.
  • Strong Treasury, business, client solution advisory, or consulting background, with the ability to understand, unpack, and articulate client needs, treasury implications, and dynamics.
  • Strong communication, networking, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across all global time-zones.
  • Execution mindset to set-up and execute projects at a client, product, or industry level.
  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, liquidity, pricing, cross-border payments, FX, and channels, as well as concepts such as AI/ML, Blockchain, and Big Data.
  • Strong product-oriented sales/strategy experience and acumen, with excellent client-facing skills.
  • Graduate degree level or higher from a strong institution.
  • Ability to develop thought leadership ideas and strategies and execute against them, operating with urgency and energy.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key global partners - sales, product management, client service, GCB, IB, and implementation.
