About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance team as an Industrial Placement student. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our medicines and contributing to the development of our pharmacovigilance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of safety data from various sources, including clinical trials, post-marketing surveillance, and literature reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of safety reports, including periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and risk management plans (RMPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment on safety-related issues.
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of safety data to identify potential safety signals and contribute to the development of risk management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Currently studying a degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
