Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of clinical professionals to deliver effective and efficient services to clients.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Conduct performance management and coaching to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with commissioners and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage the budget for the service and ensure effective financial management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording and data reporting to meet organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of working in the substance misuse field and a commitment to complete NVQ4 Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of alcohol and health-related issues, including the functional model of alcohol use.
  • Experience of staff supervision/management/training.
  • Familiarity with primary, secondary, and other outreach settings.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
