As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social emotional behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour.
- Establish and maintain a positive 1:1 mentoring relationship with identified students, drawing up agreed action plans to outline the aims of the mentoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, Heads of House, and support staff to promote the effective use of behaviour management strategies.
- Work with students to develop their social emotional skills, promoting positive relationships and a supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour support plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
