About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nursery Chef to join our team at Blossom Tree Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our children, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies
- Manage the kitchen inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and rotated regularly
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and Ofsted guidelines
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide a safe and stimulating environment for our children
- Deputise for the Cook in their absence, taking on full responsibility for the kitchen
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualificationMinimum 6 months experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHHStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
