About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Nursery Cook/Chef to join our team at Blossom Tree Nursery School by Storal. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for our children, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children with specific dietary needs
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and Ofsted guidelines
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure stock rotation
  • Deputise for the Cook in all absences and provide full-time cover when required
About You

We are looking for an individual with a Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification, a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH. You should be able to reflect the Storal values of responsibility, openness, and working together.
