About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Professional to join our team at LTF Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to promote a positive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to design and implement individualized learning plans that meet the unique needs of students with SEN.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to promote student engagement, motivation, and self-esteem.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to the classroom teacher and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to SEN.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Valid DBS clearance and two professional references.
