Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key stages of our developments, ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing QA policies and procedures to align with company best practices
- Quality planning, including defining quality criteria, inspection and testing protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints
- Overseeing the execution of quality control processes throughout the construction project lifecycle
- Evaluating and selecting reliable vendors and suppliers of construction materials and equipment
- Providing training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance processes and standards
- Risk management, including identifying potential quality risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
- Quality inspections and audits, including conducting regular inspections and quality reviews of construction activities and processes
- Document control, including managing documentation related to quality assurance activities
- Non-conformance management, including investigating non-conformities and leading efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives and requirements
- Extensive experience operating in a QA role in the construction industry, ideally with a residential developer or main contractor
- Ability to produce quality management plans and enforce them
A competitive salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a package including car allowance, pension, healthcare, and 26+ days annual leave.
