Mandarin-Speaking Treasury Operations Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified candidate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the UK financial sector. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.

Role Summary:
The selected individual will support the Treasury business management function, providing essential trading assistance, liquidity risk evaluation, financial assessment, risk oversight, and project management. This role is based in the office full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Management: Collaborate with the line manager on business management tasks, including management information, key performance indicators, early warning indicators, key risk indicators, risk control self-assessments, end-to-end mapping, and budget oversight. Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures during trading activities.
- Trading Support: Oversee the Trader Mandate and facilitate Trader authorization within the Treasury system; manage counterparties; prepare documentation for risk limit requests; assist with client onboarding and KYC processes; verify Treasury transactions and ensure accurate system capture of deals.
- Liquidity Management: Work alongside the Asset and Liability Management team to monitor and analyze liquidity risks. Develop tools to improve forecasting capabilities and conduct scenario analyses.
- Financial Analysis: Evaluate the Treasury's impact on the overall financial performance of the organization.
- Risk Control: Identify and manage credit, liquidity, market, and operational risks; monitor risk exposure and limit usage; analyze and report on profit and loss; escalate risk incidents to the line manager.
- Project Management: Assist the line manager with New Product Approvals and Business Requirement Documents for system enhancements, including automation of reports and liquidity and risk metrics. Lead Treasury-related initiatives in broader organizational projects.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a quantitative discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of foreign exchange, interest rates, money markets, and other Treasury products.
- Strong understanding of Treasury risk management and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, decision-making, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in VBA and spreadsheets.
