Your Responsibilities:
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Generating precise monthly financial reports for various business units and presenting findings to senior management.
- Collaborating with operational managers to prepare forecasts and budgets, providing support and advice as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures across all contracts.
- Overseeing general financial operations, including invoicing and accounting tasks.
- Engaging in all financial aspects of the business, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing revenue and optimizing costs.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory and assets to support effective cost management.
- Conducting payroll checks to prevent discrepancies.
- Assisting in evaluating the financial viability of new contracts and business ventures.
- Coordinating with the regional finance team to ensure all necessary financial information is reported accurately.
- Providing financial guidance to operational management on various matters.
- Advising depot administrators on financial procedures and ensuring compliance through audits.
- Monitoring all financial management aspects within operational activities.
- Implementing new financial policies and procedures as required.
- Managing budget planning and expenditure control within your role.
What We Are Looking For:
- Professional qualification from a recognized UK accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, SAGE, Workday).
- Ability to manage accounts across multiple sites.
- Experience in business partnering.
