Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join our esteemed client schools in Watford. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of students across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect
  • Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students and provide additional support or challenge as needed
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student learning and well-being
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with experience across multiple year groups (ECT's encouraged to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community
