Responsibilities

As a Highway Maintenance Supervisor, your role will encompass:

  • Ensuring the safe execution of projects in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conducting and customizing daily briefings to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Overseeing that all work adheres to the specified designs and standards, addressing any issues prior to project completion.
  • Planning and coordinating tasks to optimize productivity, while maintaining clear communication regarding any changes.
  • Facilitating communication among all stakeholders, including the public, to minimize disruption and enhance service delivery.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for individuals who:

  • Are prepared to work night shifts.
  • Hold SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications.
  • Possess an NRSWA supervisor card.
  • Have supervisory experience in highway maintenance.
