About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Director to join our Financial Services Regulatory Compliance team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced compliance and legal professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of financial services regulatory compliance and financial crime matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advisory compliance support to key clients, including Tier One banks, challenger banks, building societies, credit reference agencies, payment firms, mortgage administrators, and asset finance firms.
  • Deliver advisory support on permissions, governance, conduct rules, and regulatory due diligence in support of corporate transactions.
  • Provide PRA and FCA authorisation and application support across a range of firms.
  • Participate in developing client relationships, marketing, knowledge sharing, and practice development.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior compliance role, with a detailed understanding of the FCA and PRA rules and regulations.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work to multiple clients within tight timescales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the financial services sector, including the key regulatory requirements and industry trends.
