About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Barry-Wehmiller. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for supporting all tasks and administration related to procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders from creation to receipt, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Expedite parts with suppliers, following up on late orders and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Support the team with warehouse, goods in, logistics, shipping documentation, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other external partners.
  • Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain team, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Participate in improvement projects to enhance processes and efficiency within the Supply Chain function.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Basic analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
