Job Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Orchid Lawns, a 24-bedded care home in Bedfordshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and mobility support.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery, including handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
  • Support the development of our team, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues.

Requirements

  • RGN/RMN qualified and NMC registered.
  • Previous experience in older people's care, preferably in a dementia care setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
