Gleeson Development Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Administrator to provide administrative support to the Group Technical Department. Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information.
- Maintain standard house types and details files under supervision.
- Ensure all design information is issued to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain records of Type approval with NHBC, LABC, and SBD.
- Liaise with internal departments, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors as required.
- Develop awareness of group procedures and implement.
- Maintain Consultant Schedule / Pre-Qual documentation.
- Coordinate and report R&S bond levels, BT, and infrastructure rebates.
- Printing and collation of contract documents.
- Assist Group Technical Director and Design Manager in day-to-day project administration tasks as required.
- Data entry and uploads into our in-house project management system.
- Attendance at team meetings and taking meeting minutes.
- Maintaining development records for apprentices.
- Manage the flow of drawings, documentation, and data within the organisation.
Requirements:
- Reasonable technical knowledge base, ideally from a technical design / housebuilding background.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration across the business.
- Previous experience in administration or document control for a Main Contractor / Housebuilder (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience using project management software (preferred but not essential).
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately.
- Experience of working with various file types including MS Office and Excel, Outlook.
