Deliver Strategic Programmes at Heathrow Airport

As a Delivery Manager at Heathrow Airport, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic programmes that drive efficiency and value from our current assets and capability. You will work closely with the Strategy, People, and Finance teams, as well as business stakeholders, to ensure that our programmes meet the required standards and deliver the desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Delivery Obligations (DOs) for projects within the programme, ensuring that they are aligned with the programme's objectives and meet the required standards.
  • Provide critical stakeholder management and leadership on all elements of DOs and Ex Ante within the programme, building strong relationships across the programme and PMO.
  • Set up and manage delivery obligations for projects within the programme, providing the project team with recommendations on investment decisions from a DO and Ex Ante viewpoint.
  • Play a key role in external Stakeholder Programme Groups in the approval of DOs as part of the project G3 investment decision with the airline community.
  • Drive performance and minimise financial risk to Heathrow through insightful analysis and performance reporting, providing critical information back into the programme leadership team and wider Heathrow on DO performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Project Management and/or PMO experience, including strong experience and capability in development, design, construction, business management, and transformational change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and performance reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the programme and PMO.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
