We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a key role in our Diabetic Foot Disease Service, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with diabetic foot disease.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist podiatry services to patients with diabetic foot disease, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including diabetes consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to prevent and manage diabetic foot disease, including wound care, biomechanics, and orthotics.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in providing specialist podiatry services to patients with diabetic foot disease.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of national guidelines and best practices for the management of diabetic foot disease.
