About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at EV Cargo. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering products to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage daily vehicle checks and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to any delivery issues or concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 2 Driving Licence (C+E)
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Previous experience in HGV driving, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
