We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Nurse to join our team at Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Carroll. As a Registered Mental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer psychiatric medications and monitor their effects, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and well-being.
  • Provide various forms of therapy, including individual and group sessions, to promote patient recovery and empowerment.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to advocate for patients' rights and support their recovery journey.
  • Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and destigmatization.
  • Stay updated on current practices and treatments in mental healthcare, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • NMC registration
  • 6 months' experience within a UK healthcare setting
  • Right to work in the UK
