Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Service Technician to join our facilities team at Florette in Lichfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the water treatment plant, factory, and site grounds, working predominantly weekends.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct routine checks of plant, water, and equipment on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis
* Perform routine checks on the operation of the cooling towers, including sampling and replenishment of chemicals
* Carry out general maintenance and DIY tasks, including maintaining site trailers to ensure they are always in a road-worthy condition
* Complete all necessary PPMs (Predictive Maintenance Programs) and advise management of any problems affecting the water treatment plant immediately to minimize operational downtime

Requirements

* Knowledge of a Water Treatment Plant and organization in relation to supply and control of animal feed
* Ability to operate a tractor and trailer unit, with Legionella and Confined Space Awareness
* Observation and recording skills, with a high level of attention to detail
