About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Director to join our team at THE TALENT SET. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for leading our brand marketing activities and providing a customer perspective for colleagues across the organization's content development and overall messaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies to drive engagement and visibility across multiple channels.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Provide a customer perspective to inform content development and messaging across the organization.
  • Content Marketing: Create and deliver content marketing strategies for social media, newsletters, and campaigns to drive customer engagement and conversion.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media channels to connect with our brand and increase reach and engagement.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data and make proactive suggestions to senior leadership for approaches to increase the impact of brand marketing and communications.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop effective reporting mechanisms to measure the impact of engagement activities and monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the product marketing team to ensure brand marketing and product marketing are aligned and effectively scheduled.
  • Event Management: Coordinate the organization's offering at events, including logistics, content preparation, promotion, staffing, budgeting, and administration.
Requirements
  • Education Sector Experience: Proven experience working within the education sector or public sector.
  • Product Marketing Expertise: Experience with product marketing and senior marketing experience across a range of channels.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Market Research: Basic understanding of market research techniques.
What We Offer

This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to our Berkshire office. We offer a competitive salary of £41,000-£46,000 pro rata (paid on a day rate inside IR35) depending on experience.
