Job Title: Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to join our National Sales team for the West Midlands region. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving performance increases to sales revenue, profitability, and product uptake.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience gained within a field-based sales position/environment, be results-focused, motivated by meeting targets, and able to attain revenue targets while under pressure. You will need to maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, identify and onboard new business opportunities, and build relationships with decision-makers to successfully win business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and onboard new business opportunities to contribute towards sales targets and KPIs.
  2. Take ownership for the designated territory, ensuring all potential opportunities are identified and assessed.
  3. Scheduled visits to decision-makers in prospect companies, using learned skills and personal knowledge and experience to close business.
  4. Market mapping activities to identify potential new business opportunities, who the decision-makers are, and what the requirements will be, enabling efficient and informed decision-making.
  5. Be a product expert, answering customer questions relating to product specifications and pricing.
  6. Confidently explain and negotiate our commercial offering.
  7. Accurately and efficiently collate and record customer information into our CRM tool.
  8. Consistently onboard new clients through maintaining a pipeline of prospect customers.
  9. Maintain an excellent working knowledge of all DHL products and services sold and keep current on industry developments.
