About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Care and Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to our customers, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised care and support to customers, promoting active support and encouraging independence
  • Support customers with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, and hygiene
  • Administer medication and assist with shopping, cleaning, and laundry tasks
  • Help customers arrange and attend appointments, such as with their GP
  • Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers to prevent social isolation
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records
  • Promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care and support services
Requirements
  • A personalised approach to care, with experience working with physical or learning disabilities or high needs
  • Enthusiastic and flexible, with a strong 'can-do' attitude
  • Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets
  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards
  • Good communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with customers
