Job Title: Principal Marine Structural Designer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Marine Structural Designer to join our team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for technically supporting the delivery of a Marine Defence project to a key client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate technical functions to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop capabilities to support project delivery.
  • Provide advice and support to team leaders and members to ensure project success.
  • Consult on planning activities and technical governance.
  • Work with the Technical Authority to ensure technical aspects comply with QMS.
  • Support continual risk assessments and team member development.
  • Consult on training needs for individuals supporting the project.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND/Degree in mechanical engineering.
Essential Skills:
  • Experience of Marine hardware, systems requirements, and standards.
  • Leadership experience in delivering complex multi-functional projects.
  • Marine Defence experience preferred.
Experience:
  • 10+ years of marine design experience, preferably with subsurface.
