We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Based Supervisor to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our Ambulance Care Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of exceptional patient transport services across Surrey.
Key Responsibilities- Business Performance and Service Delivery: Ensure the prompt departure of Ambulance Care Assistants from base, maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Safety: Collaborate with the Compliance Team to conduct regular Health and Safety base checks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Fleet Management: Liaise with the Fleet Supervisor to ensure all vehicles are suitable for road use, conducting regular vehicle checks to maintain optimal performance and hygiene.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personal data management systems, ensuring the accuracy of payroll and annual leave records.
- KPIs and Performance: Support the Contract Manager in delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- People Management: Conduct probationary reviews with Ambulance Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding and development.
- Employee Relations and Support: Conduct thorough and fair investigations, delivering concise and compelling cases to support disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Sickness and Leave Management: Monitor and manage sickness absence, identifying potential areas for improvement and implementing strategies to minimize impact on service delivery.
- Recruitment and Selection: Participate in recruitment and selection processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Deliver Annual Skills Development training, conducting driving assessments as required to ensure all team members are equipped to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Conduct property risk assessments as needed, ensuring safe and suitable access for Ambulance Crews.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, taking reasonable care to prevent harm to self and others.
