We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team at Clearwater People Solutions Ltd. As a Product Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and managing product ranges that align with our brand values and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop product ranges that reflect our brand values, ensuring they meet the agreed image, quality, and price points.
  • Plan and implement product strategies based on historical data and trends, in partnership with the Merchandiser.
  • Work closely with the Sourcing Manager and cross-functional teams to drive product development, ensuring timely delivery of samples, fabrics, and pricing.
  • Ensure range plans, product briefs, and design specifications are completed on time and meet business objectives.
  • Continuously review product performance and market trends to maximise sales and margins, making data-driven decisions.
  • Manage and evaluate the supplier base to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and security of supply.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar Product Development Specialist role, ideally within retail, fashion, or home sectors.
  • Ability to analyse sales data, market trends, and customer needs to shape product strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects within strict timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as design, merchandising, and marketing.
  • A deep understanding of retail environments, competitor analysis, and the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Experience in managing and developing junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
