As a Regulatory Compliance Lead at AVK-SEG, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and external consultants. You will ensure that all notification and reporting obligations are fulfilled. Additionally, you will be tasked with the upkeep of documented compliance procedures that align with internal standards, legislative requirements, business objectives, and risk management strategies.

Your role will also involve leading and managing the operational activities and performance of the corporate health and safety culture. This includes planning, monitoring, and reviewing work processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, competent advice and an efficient service that integrates equality issues, best practices, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and manage the compliance administration team.

· Develop, implement, and uphold compliance policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.

· Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas for enhancement and execute corrective actions as necessary.

· Issue, maintain, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

· Oversee the annual renewal process for all certificates and accreditations.

· Manage and maintain ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001).

· Coordinate the external audit process for accreditations and ISO standards.

· Maintain the Compliance Risk Register.

· Ensure timely completion and submission of compliance reports to senior management.

· Oversee and facilitate compliance inductions.

· Collaborate with Health & Safety and Sustainability Divisions.

· Assist in the preparation of annual compliance budgets and manage annual expenditures.

· Provide ad hoc support across the Compliance Division.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Compliance Management roles.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO45001 & ISO14001 Standards.
  • Expertise in auditing management systems.
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferred).
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel between sites.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organizational environment.
