We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Hope Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business impact related projects, working with clients on their sustainability and ESG strategies, policies, and implementation plans.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and manage sustainability and ESG projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Sustainability Strategies: Develop and implement sustainability strategies, impact assessments, and action plans with and for clients, aligning with global frameworks and standards.
- Client Relationships: Manage client relationships, engage stakeholders at all levels, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead teams and manage stakeholder groups, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Communication: Create and deliver presentations and workshops for clients, effectively communicating sustainability strategies and reports.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in environmental sustainability or related consultancy roles, such as ESG or CSR.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles, including ISO standards, CSRD, SECR, SBTi, and GHG Protocol.
- Sector Experience: Experience in sectors such as entertainment, live events, culture, or sport.
- Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with advanced Excel skills and computer literacy.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey sustainability strategies and reports effectively.
- Professional Membership: Membership of IEMA or similar professional bodies.
- Business Development: Experience in business development, identifying new opportunities, and building relationships with prospective clients.
- Legislation and Reporting: Knowledge of global and local environmental legislation and mandatory reporting requirements.
