We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our team in London/West End. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for providing property accounting services to a key client, including client reporting and year-end service charge accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control, set up, and maintenance of records on the Property Management database
  • Reconciliation and set up of take-on balances in respect of new instructions
  • Understanding, agreeing, and delivering client reporting requirements
  • Providing regular and other ad-hoc analysis using Excel
  • VAT reporting
  • Year-end service charge account drafting and completion, including prepayments and accruals
  • Service charge cash reconciliations
  • Tenant Account reconciliations
  • Preparing lease completion calculations
  • Raising tenant demands for rents, service charges, and ad-hoc charges
  • Dealing with tenants and landlords, and responding to their queries
Requirements
  • Previous client accounting experience across a commercial portfolio of assets
  • Availability on > months' notice and commitment to a 12-month FTC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
