Audio Visual Operations Supervisor

The Audio Visual Operations Supervisor will primarily oversee activities at various venues. As a prominent global provider of audio-visual integration and event solutions, we are seeking a skilled Operations Supervisor to play a crucial role in our London division. This position entails full accountability for ensuring that all operations at client venues are executed in accordance with established service level agreements. The Supervisor acts as the primary liaison between our organization and the client, with the main objective of meeting and exceeding client expectations during their events and meetings. This role involves collaboration with technical staff, client service teams, and production personnel to effectively plan for events, manage staffing needs, ensure equipment functionality, control expenses, and supervise on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the management of on-site technical staff and freelancers
  2. Collaborate with the Operations Team to identify and implement service enhancements
  3. Administer process workflows in alignment with client protocols
  4. Foster a structured and professional atmosphere to ensure the team meets and surpasses client expectations
  5. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, implementing performance improvement strategies as necessary
  6. Develop skills matrices and identify training needs
  7. Manage daily workload and allocate resources effectively
  8. Facilitate daily and weekly operational meetings to discuss staffing, technical needs, and equipment status
  9. Act as the decision-maker for service requests at designated locations
  10. Ensure routine checks of all areas by technicians in accordance with established guidelines
  11. Handle the opening and closing of service tickets related to operational issues, coordinating with the service team for resolutions
  12. Maintain client communication, providing updates, feedback, and operational insights
  13. Prepare monthly billing statements, purchase orders, and overtime reports
  14. Generate weekly event scheduling forecasts detailing staffing and technical requirements
  15. Ensure all operational financial reports and metrics are submitted to clients and senior management through regular service reviews and as needed
