Aircraft Mechanical Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Team Lead to join our team at BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL. As a Mechanical Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and supervision of aircraft mechanical activities within our Base and MRO environment.
Key Responsibilities- Production and Supervision - Ensure the effective management of Part 145 activities, including setting delivery targets, monitoring progress, and developing performance improvement programmes.
- Component Maintenance - Ensure all Part 145 activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems.
- Team Management - Supervise a team of mechanical supervisors and technicians, evaluating and prioritizing tasks to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including the Part 145 Exposition, its associated procedures and standards, and any other Company procedures and standards.
- Safety Management - Promote the application of Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management, and Safety Assurance within the Part 145 team.
- Qualifications - Ideally Hawk T2/Mk167 type trained, with 5 years of practical experience and expertise in aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
- Work Experience - 2 years of relevant work experience within the aircraft maintenance environment, working at a supervisory level and exercising certifying privileges.
- Skills and Knowledge - Demonstrating breadth of experience, currency, and recency via a Log Book capturing skills, knowledge, and authorities for working on Aircraft or in workshop.
