Job Title: Engineering Process Engineer

At Salsa Catering & Special Events Inc, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and management of special processes, customer, and regulatory accreditations.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure that processes are embedded within our Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Identify process and product improvements and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead external regulatory and Nadcap audits.
  • Creation of data cards and analysis of data.
  • Conduct training as appropriate.
  • Promote the content of our Business Management System (BMS), Health and Safety Policy, and your responsibilities within the Policy.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Specialization in one or more of the following areas: Heat Treatment, Welding, Chemical Processing, NDT, Laser Cutting.
  • Understanding and management of regulatory approvals such as ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.
  • Proven track record of project management success.
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree, or HNC/HND, ONC, BTEC Diploma Level 4, or equivalent NVQ Level 4 qualification.
  • Experience of auditing, ISO 9001, or similar modern standards at lead auditor level.
