Complex Needs Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Complex Needs Support Worker to join our Heaney Cluster service in Kensington and Chelsea. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, helping them to develop independent living skills and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver all aspects of support to enable customers to develop independent living skills, as appropriate to their individual needs.
- Support customers to maintain their tenancies and prevent rent arrears.
- Assess customers' practical and emotional needs to incorporate into their support plans.
- Develop support plans and risk management plans to ensure the safety and well-being of customers.
- Carry out weekly health and safety checks and security duties to ensure the safety of customers and premises.
- Monitor CCTV throughout the shift and report any observations relating to customers' welfare.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing, including statutory requirements.
- Maintain records as required at the project under the direction of Management.
- Participate in team meetings and reviews, and contribute to the development of the service.
We are looking for an individual who exudes a warm and friendly presence, is fundamentally calm and resilient, and has a practical and logical mind. You should be flexible, open to feedback and self-development, and thrive in dynamic and diverse environments. You will be confident, articulate, and sensitive in your communication style, and motivated towards excellence and improvement of personal performance.
Requirements- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or experience within the charity/social care sector.
- Relevant specialism experience in mental health is desirable.
