About the Role:

As a Lead Commercial Surveyor, you will provide leadership and guidance on all property matters, undertake inspections of various types of land and property, and support the Senior Estates Manager in delivering financial targets and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse commercial estate, including negotiating leases and agreements with landlords and tenants.
  • Provide expert advice on property acquisitions and disposals, including conducting site visits and inspections.
  • Support the Senior Estates Manager in delivering financial targets and business strategy, including managing budgets and reporting on income and expenditure.
  • Lead on property acquisitions and disposals, including negotiating with vendors and purchasers.
  • Manage a team of surveyors and land officers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Experience managing estates or similar to a high standard.
  • Excellent understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • People management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory requirements relating to the ownership, management, sale, purchase, and leasing of land and property.
