SEN Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with students who require alternative education, providing tailored lessons and support to help them achieve their full potential.

This is an ongoing placement, with hours dependent on the student's needs. You will work closely with our team to monitor the student's progression and submit weekly reports. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN students on a 1:1 or small group basis, and be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box.

• Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to students with special educational needs
• Support students in accessing the community and learning life skills
• Monitor student progression and submit weekly reports
• Work collaboratively with our team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment

• Experience working with SEN students on a 1:1 or small group basis
• QTS is desirable but not essential
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to complete a new application
• Ability to commit to the student and work for the duration of the placement
