About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team at Teach360. As a Youth Support Worker, you will be working with pupils who require additional support outside of the classroom. This is a long-term role that requires strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to any situation.
About the School:
The SEMH School is a forward-thinking institution that caters for 110 pupils from the ages of 5-18 with SEMH and behavioural difficulties. The school is highly supportive of its learners, providing a wide-ranging curriculum to help them achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to pupils outside of the classroom
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils
- Use behaviour management skills to support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Work collaboratively with the school team to achieve pupil outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt to any situation
- Team Teach training desirable but not essential
