Job Overview
Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Import LCL Clerk to join our team in a Freight Forwarding organization. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for handling LCL Import shipments for airfreight and seafreight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Raise invoices and internal files to maintain accurate financial records
- Pass supplier invoices for timely payment
- Communicate with Shipping lines, hauliers, and depots to arrange collections and deliveries
- Ensure all customer deadlines are met and deliveries are made on time
- Monitor and follow up on shipment deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
- Proven experience handling LCL import shipments
- Familiarity with CNS, Destin8, or Multi-freight systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
