About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Manton Heights ABI Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist occupational therapy services to patients with acquired brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to help patients regain their independence and achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and ensure seamless transitions between services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • BSc Hons Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Valid HCPC registration and DBS clearance.
  • Minimum 12-18 months experience in neurology and rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, particularly in the specialty of stroke and neurology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
