Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Manton Heights ABI Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to patients with neurological diagnoses, including stroke and brain injury.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to promote independence and rehabilitation in patients with neurological conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new initiatives and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy and neurological rehabilitation.
- BSc Hons Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid HCPC registration.
- Minimum 12-18 months experience in neurology, with some experience in rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to complete comprehensive assessments and treatment plans, as well as maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for home and access visits.
