We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Informatics and Technology to join our team at ADLIB Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our technology function and working closely with other departments to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technology strategy and direction for the business, working closely with the C-Suite and other teams.
- Manage and develop a team of experts, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with other departments, including biologists, chemists, hardware engineers, and commercial teams, to drive business growth and innovation.
- Develop and implement technology solutions to meet business needs, leveraging expertise in data and technology-focused fields.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the technology function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- MSc or PhD in a data or technology-focused field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a solid STEM background.
- Previous hands-on experience in technical roles, with a strong understanding of technology and data.
- Strong people management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of experts.
- Product management or strategic leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across diverse technical levels.
We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £100,000, dependent on experience, along with a host of fantastic benefits, including a flexible work policy, equity options, and a great benefits package.
