Job Title: Head of Informatics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Informatics to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As the Head of Informatics, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our informatics team, ensuring the development and implementation of bioinformatic capabilities, and managing the informatics infrastructure to ensure GDPR and GLCP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Informatics team and provide strategic direction from a scientific standpoint.
  2. Develop and implement bioinformatic capabilities to support our research and development activities.
  3. Manage the informatics infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Represent the company externally and lead the analysis of key omic datasets, including clinical trials.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant degree in bioinformatics, genomics, microbiology, or a related field, and extensive industry experience in bioinformatics and strong knowledge of coding. You will also need to have a working knowledge and practical experience with cloud computing technologies and infrastructure, particularly AWS.
