About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Courseware Development Manager to lead the development of training courseware through the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) documentation and processes for our customer's training sites and organisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the work of a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT documentation and processes.
  • Interview subject matter experts to collate required data and participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
  • Work closely with other subject matter experts within the team to define and deliver the training solution.
  • Conduct and maintain training design in response to new training requirements, including those arising from new capabilities, to ensure that training satisfies operational/workplace performance requirements.
  • Update training design materials to incorporate relevant recommendations and feedback from internal and external assurance, to ensure that training remains up-to-date and satisfies operational/workplace performance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to provide accreditation for new and/or amended training as designed, and/or any amendments or implications for existing accreditations following training design changes.
  • Conduct training design reviews of all training courses at least every three years and maintain and update the design of training courses to ensure that such training courses are up-to-date and that they satisfy relevant operational/workplace performance requirements.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and within the customer organisation.
  • Experience in the development and delivery environment and have contributed to the design of significant training courses.
  • A good working knowledge of the training design and development processes for training media.
  • Experienced and capable of working within a team.
