We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management Group in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering Supply Chain Management/Subcontract plans, comprising a significant number of large dollar work packages. This will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect information required to engage relevant supply lines efficiently and economically.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver Supply Chain Management/Subcontract plans
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Define SCM strategy in cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Direct negotiations with selected suppliers
- Perform commercial analyses and evaluate bids received
- Participate in internal gate review meetings
- Finalize bid summaries and make recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Manage and negotiate all Variation Orders and amendments
- Take care of subcontract close-out
- Degree qualified at Bachelor level or equivalent in a technical, commercial, or legal discipline
- Experience working in a project management role, ideally within the energy industry, with a strong involvement in SCM and subcontract processes
- Genuine communicator and negotiator with the ability to converse in English in both written and spoken word at a very high level
- Advanced user in Microsoft Office and SAP, ideally in Ariba
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to develop, motivate, and collaborate effectively with teams and individuals across the business
