Job Title: Asset Management Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Management Lead to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our Benefits Team, you will be responsible for leading the processing of benefit cases and ensuring that our team delivers excellence in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workload of the team to ensure that all team administration is completed in line with group procedures and within service level agreements.
  • Mentor and coach team members to assist and develop their skills, offering guidance on specific procedures and processes.
  • Monitor ongoing benefits cases and process them in line with service level agreements.
  • Responsible for maintaining records of work completed by the team and providing regular reports to the Manager, including KPIs and monthly MI.
  • Carry out general administration duties, including answering client/adviser queries regarding benefits, maintaining a diary and spreadsheet system in line with service level agreements.
  • Monitor the performance of individuals and provide constructive feedback to improve performance where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Services Administrator team, specifically within a supervisory role.
  • Experience leading and motivating a team.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of AJ Bell products and services.
  • Awareness of HMRC rules and FCA regulations relating to pensions and benefits.
