Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.
We are currently seeking a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status to provide support in the core subjects of Maths, English, and Science to a student in Year 11 at a KS4 Level.
Due to the nature of the students we support, applicants must have experience tutoring core subjects.
Position Details:
Location: Anglesey
Position: 1:1 Tutor
Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months tutoring experience
Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Have QTS or equivalent
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references
