Role OverviewThe Senior Technical Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the technical excellence of our operations, providing expert guidance and support to our teams.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Oversight: Ensure the technical performance of the contract, offering expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to deliver compliant and efficient service.
- Team Leadership: Manage and supervise the facilities management team, including absence management and cover planning.
- First Point of Contact: Act as the primary escalation point for maintenance issues, supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Facility Management: Oversee installations, maintenance, repairs, and the overall upkeep of facilities in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Fault Investigation: Conduct first-line investigations into building faults, ensuring safety and arranging referrals to specialists as needed.
- Subcontractor Management: Effectively manage subcontractors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of materials and equipment inventory.
- Project Coordination: Lead the coordination and execution of small projects.
- Asset Management: Conduct asset verification and management as required.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and COSHH regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive knowledge in multiple technical areas, particularly mechanical, electrical, and gas.
