About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Central Edinburgh. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our sites, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Control access to and from the building, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises
  • Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Respond to and resolve security incidents, including disturbances and first aid situations
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and security protocols
Requirements
  • Hold a valid SIA license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills, including use of digital devices and software
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
